Christmas With The Mitchell's

This little guy was so cute watching unwrap his presents.  He had heard the phrase, "Maybe you will get that for Christmas", or "Maybe Santa will bring that to you", so many times!  I wasn't sure if he understood what I meant by saying, "maybe for Christmas", but he went along with it, in fact we were shopping with my mom one day and she was going to by him a toy and was asking which one he wanted and he pushed it away and said, "No, maybe for Christmas".  She tried explaining that she would get it for him then, but he didn't want to hear it and was adamant that he wait until Christmas.  Right on!  I'm training him good.

Well the day finally came and he got to start opening his presents!  The first Christmas celebration was with my family a few days before actual "Christmas", because it was the only time my whole family would be in town and all together.

Colt is showing Daddy what he got!

Hot Wheels!

They were so excited, they couldn't wait to set up their new toys!
Nana was helping Lola open her presents.
Nana and Little Miss Lo and the amazing cheetah blanket I have been eyeing for quite some time.  Thanks Nana!

My dad and my nephew William
Brock was there, but poor guy had his wisdom teeth taken out the day before!  Ouchy.

Then there was the grand finale!

All of the kids opened up flashlights and were thrilled about those alone, but then they were told to go out in the backyard and find another present for them with their flashlights.

Colt found a kitchen!  He was so excited!

The cousins all got new bikes (Colt was getting his on Christmas from John's parents).
Here they are checking out their new rides.

Overall our Christmas celebration with my parents was a blast.  It was so good to have all of my family together.  I love you all more than you know!
