June Part 3 - Happy Birthday Colt!

Before we get into the big birthday bash, I have a few cute pictures of random events from June.

We went to a Children's Museum and he got to dress up in real firefighter clothes and real Sheriff clothes.  Him and Daddy would have matched!  Sometimes when he gets really excited he gives some strange smiles, they almost look painful to him.

He got to drive a real UTA bus.

And dress up like a cowboy.

Colt is a big helper.  He is helping mommy by feeding Lola.  They both think it is funny!

Alas, Colt's Birthday is here!

His party was a Superhero theme, with an emphasis on Spider Man.  I was excited to channel my inner Wonder Woman self!

We started off with a family party a few days before his actual birthday.

He was so excited to open all of his presents!

This picture makes me laugh for some reason.  We did manage to get everyone smiling in the same picture though, that is quite the task.

Then it was on to his birthday bash!

Each kid got a superhero cape to decorate and take home from the party.  They were strewn almost across my entire backyard, 35 capes to be exact!

Here is Spider Man himself, complete with a cape and all.

We played "pin the spider on the web". 

 

And ate Spider Man cupcakes.

Then it was present time!

Grandma came and helped out with the wildness.

Colt decided to form a band to finish the party off right.

This sweet thing slept the entire party!  She woke up once everyone left, but she has to be documented, because of course she is just adorable.

Okay, okay one more picture of us.

This is the face of someone who got 2 hours of sleep the night before, because she was up cutting out felt for super hero capes.  And Colt of course, is just his cute self.

The party was done, over, complete, and I think it was a huge success!!!  Hooray!  And Happy 3rd Birthday to my sweet baby boy, Colt.  You are such an amazing little boy in so many ways.  You made me a mommy for the first time and my life will forever be blessed because of you.  Thank you and I love you!
